Rab Bielenberg

Randal (Rab) Bielenberg

“It’s a dream long in the making, when a day’s work is to be out on the water catching and releasing barramundi,” according to Rab.

“When  stress at work is only over the integrity of my new hooks or rings or the last bimini twist I just tied.”

Rab’s philosophy is about educating the anglers about every little aspect of the barramundi fishery, from the environment, laws, recreation  issues and all the related impacts.

The main aim is to teach people how to specifically target barra, enjoying this precious resource and maintaining the sustainability for many future generations.

Jason (Fordo) Fordham

“This year’s target is 140cm,” says Fordo who has already notched up a personal best salt water barra at 136cm.

While he spends most of his time perfecting his techniques seeking out bigger and better barra, Fordo finds time to squeeze in a bit of deep-water jigging, off-road motocross, 4WD exploration and even manages a cold bundy rum if he ever gets time to relax!

Participants in the course can expect to have a bit of fun while learning from Fordo.
